Three Lessons from a Month of Daily LinkedIn Posts

Lesson: Jumping into Consistent Content

A few months ago, I committed to posting on LinkedIn every single day. My goal? Meet more like-minded people and build authentic relationships at scale. Turns out, it’s working—I’ve booked more virtual coffees this past month than in the entire previous quarter. Plus, there’s an immediate sense of shared purpose with those who reach out; we’re on the same wavelength right from the start.

Insight: The Ups and Downs of Posting Daily
  1. It Works: daily posting amplifies your reach and forges deeper connections with people who share your values.
  2. It’s Hard: there’s a real learning curve in writing every day. Storytelling doesn’t come naturally, and I often feel a jolt of insecurity before hitting “post.” Yet, like any new habit, it becomes more comfortable over time.
  3. It’s Fun: taking time to document your journey, lessons, and insights can be surprisingly rewarding. It forces you to pause, reflect, and grow professionally, emotionally, and mentally.

I was inspired by Justin Welsh’s course (highly recommended) and spent time studying authentic voices on LinkedIn. If you plan to do this, build your own “clan” of supporters, but brace yourself—it’s daunting and time-consuming if you’re unprepared.

Action Item: Embrace the Challenge

If you’ve ever considered posting daily (or even weekly), give it a shot. Be consistent, stay genuine, and pay attention to how it shapes your thinking. You might just discover new connections and insights you never expected.

If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to follow me on LinkedIn. I share my journey on operations, business, and leadership—selfies included!
